One of the best things about knitting - apart from the fact that it is such a wonderfully creative activity in its own right! - is that you can make things that will actually fit you and not just some ideal shop model.
Unfortunately, not all knitting patterns come in all sizes, and sometimes you need to adjust a pattern so that it will suit you.
