Wollmeise Lacegarn Absinth, 300g, 2ply
If you love gorgeous lace shawls you must have Wollmeise Lacegarn ("Garn" is the German word for yarn).
The name of this shade, Absinth, refers to the drink of choice for so many writers at the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century. From Rimbaud and Baudelaire, Paul Verlaine, Émile Zola and Alfred Jarry to Oscar Wilde and Ernest Hemingway, all loved the "Green Fairy" as Absinth had come to be known for its alluring green tint. Absinth caused many a drinker severe alcohol poisoning and ruined many lives, but its allure lives on in the works of those artists.
Wollmeise Lacegarn Absinth combines gorgeous shades of mint-green and fresh yellow-green without the dangerous side effects of the actual drink!
