Shawl 'Footfall' in Àrd-Thìr- Kate Davies Designs Yarn Pack
This top-down shawl by Kate Davies Design is worked in beautiful KDD Àrd-Thìr (60% Highland Wool; 40% Alpaca). The tessellating motifs resemble footprints, hence the name! The pattern is part of the Bold Beginner Knits collection.
The pattern offers an introduction to many of the principles and techniques of charted top-down shawl knitting. Kate Davies patterns are beautifully written and easy to understand. If you have know basic knit stitches such as knit, purl and yarn over and want to move on to something a little bit more challenging, this could be a good project for you.
We have put together a yarn pack that includes all the yarn you need to make this stunning shawl.
Please note that this is a yarn pack only. Kate Davies Designs have asked us to refer you to their Ravelry pattern page for separate purchase of the pattern. The pattern is available as individual pattern or you can buy the KDD Bold Beginner Knits booklet which includes this and several other patterns.
Yarn pack includes 5 skeins of KDD Àrd-Thìr in your chosen colour. The main image shows the shawl worked in colour "Veyatie".
In addition (not included), you need knitting needles in size 6mm.
The pattern can be purchased and downloaded here: Footfall pattern download.
