KDD Àrd-Thìr 5010 Kiloran, 10ply, 50g

Àrd-Thìr is a beautiful Aran weight (heavy worsted) yarn developed in collaboration with well known Scottish designer Kate Davies. It is soft and squishy and very versatile - perfect for winter knitting.

The yarn blends Peruvian Highland Wool and Superfine Alpaca. The colour range of  Àrd-Thìr is inspired by the subtle earthy tones of the Scottish landscape. Each shade has depth and beautiful tonal variety, and all shades also work well together. 

Fibre: 60% Highland Wool, 40% Superfine Alpaca
Length: 65 metres) per 50g skein
Yarn weight: Aran/ 10ply, but can be knitted across a broad range of gauges.
Recommended needle sizes: 4.5mm - 6mm
Care instructions: Hand wash separately in cool water and dry flat
