This 100% Australian single origin Alpaca yarn was grown at Pacawoolly, a small Alpaca stud in Michelago in southern New South Wales. It was spun into yarn by Fibre Naturally, Macclesfield, Victoria.

Pacawoolly breed high quality alpacas in a variety of colours and produce natural alpaca fleece and yarn. The low micron, high comfort factor fleeces are milled into high quality yarns ensuring a soft and comfortable product.

Pacawoolly do not dye any of the yarns.

Interested to see the animals whose fleece was used to produce this yarn? Pacawoolly's Dark Fawn was spun from the fleeces of four gorgeous Alpacas called Cuddles, Hermes, Lanyon and Primo. Please note that this yarn is a subtle shade darker than Pacawoolly Hermes but of a similar saturated brown hue. The image shows how light will reflect off this yarn and make it appear lighter (yarn ball to the left), while the yarn ball to the right shows the yarn in its natural shade.

Pacawoolly yarns are eco-friendly yarns. Only sustainable, natural and economically viable products and processes are used in the care of alpacas, the land and fleeces.

A 100% natural, Australian made product for the environmentally conscious knitter.

Due to the nature of this wool, a small amount of vegetable matter may be present in the yarn.

This yarn is soft to the touch, a joy to knit and comfortable to wear.

This yarn is available in 4ply (current product) and in 8ply (click link here)
