Cardigan 'Downstream' in Àrd Thìr - Kate Davies Designs Yarn Pack
'Downstream' is a cardigan pattern from Kate Davies Design collection Bold Beginner Knits. The cardigan is worked in KDD Àrd-Thìr, a gorgeous yarn blend of 60% Highland wool and 40% Alpaca that is reminiscent of the Scottish Highlands.
We have put together a yarn pack that includes all the yarn you need to make this beautiful cardigan.
Please note that this is a yarn pack only. Kate Davies Designs have asked us to refer you to their Ravelry pattern page for separate purchase of the pattern. The pattern is available as individual pattern or you can buy the KDD Bold Beginner Knits booklet which includes this and several other patterns.
We have added a few other pre-packed colour options but of course could also make this in a single colour or in any colour combination you like - just choose the correct amount of KDD Àrd-Thìr for your sizde and use the Ravelry link for the pattern.
To determine the best fit for you, please check the sizing table and pick the size above your actual bust measurement.
Yarn included (based on bust circumference):
- 91.5cm: 8x darker shade, 3x lighter shade (TOTAL 11 skeins, 550g)
- 104cm: 9x darker shade, 3x lighter shade (TOTAL 12 skeins. 600g)
- 114.5cm: 10x darker shade, 4x lighter shade (TOTAL 14 skeins, 700g)

If you wish to add length to the cardigan body or sleeves, you may need more yarn.
In addition (not included), you need 60-80cm long circular needles in size 5.5mm (or needle size to achieve required tension) for working body and smaller size for ribbing, plus the same sized needles in your preferred length for working small circumferences for sleeves.
