New: We now stock Wild Gum Wool

Posted on

We are very pleased to let you know that we now stock another gorgeous Australian yarn, White Gum Wool

We just received our first shipment of a range of colours in 4ply and 5ply.

White Gum Wool is ethically grown superfine Merino from the high midlands of Tasmania. The sheep are raised on a single farm in the high midlands of Tasmania by Nan Bray.

Nan's sheep graze on mostly native pastures and are kept in family groups. The sheep are not mulesed and their tails are not docked. Happy sheep - beautiful wool!

No herbicides, fertilisers, pesticides or fungicides are used in growing White Gum Wool.

White Gum Wool is made into yarn by Design Spun in New Zealand, having first been scoured by Canterbury Wool Scourers. NewMerino ® Chain of Custody certifies the sustainability and traceability of the yarn.
