Mix it up - Blending crochet and knitting for gorgeous summer outfit
Posted on
Sometimes you just want to do it all: crochet some, knit some. Why not combine both in one garment? Take this summer sweater in Rellana Denim cotton yarn, for example. The main body is worked in 4 parts in stocking stitch. A lacy strip of crochet squares runs down the middle front and back. The hem and the sleeves are also worked in crochet.
The result? A unique sweater that will earn you the admiration of both your knitting and crochet friends - and inspire those who have always wanted to take up the craft!
Rellana Denim cotton is a beautifully soft cotton with a variegated spray-print pattern. Available in a range of colours. The pattern is for size 10 but is easily adapted to suit a larger size. The Knit Kit includes 250g of Rellana Denim cotton yarn in your chosen colour and the pattern for free. We recommend adding approximately 1 ball of yarn per additional size up.
