While Pokemon Go has been all the craze and you or your kids may have been busy chasing virtual Pokemon around town, you may want to have a 'real life' Pokemon amigurumi, too. So why not crochet one?
There are plenty of free patterns available online. Here are just three suggestions to get you started:
First on my list is, of course, Pikachu.
The pattern is available in several languages for free, or you can download a pdf for a small fee.
Or you could make Charmander - Hitokage Pokemon, following the free instructions from the Amigurumipianosound Crochet Blog.
Or how about Charizard, the Lizard Pokemon?
Designed by Brazilian lawyer and crochet artist MiaHandcrafter, this is another very cute Pokemon amigurumi.
If you have caught the Pokemon crochet bug by now, you may need to crochet them all... For more patterns, join in the Pokemon crochet challenge!
And if you make any Pokemon from our yarns, post a photo your creation to our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/iwoolknit/ !
